By accepting this agreement and accessing the wireless network, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this agreement.
The wireless network service is provided by the Akiak Tribal Library under an FCC e-Rate grant and subject to internet safety monitoring and restricts access to materials harmful to minors. Your access to the wireless network is completely at your discretion. Your access to the network may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason.
You agree not to use the wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful or otherwise prohibited and you are fully responsible for your use.
From time to time, we will make revisions to this Agreement and to the policies relating to the Services, including revisions to the provisions that govern the way that you and the Library resolve disputes. You accept the revisions and agree to abide by them by continuing to use the Services.
The wireless network is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.
Prohibited Uses of the Akiak Tribal Library Free Wi-Fi Systems and Services:
The following constitute examples of violations of these Terms of Service:

Limited Liability. The Library makes no guarantees about the quality of services provided and is not responsible for any claims, losses, damages, costs or other obligations arising from us of the Service.

· The wireless network service is provided by Akiak Tribal Library and your access to the wireless network is completely at their discretion. Your access to the network may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason.
· You agree not to use the wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful or otherwise prohibited and you are fully responsible for your use.
Library’s Acceptable Use Policy and Patron Certification. The library has received funding from the federal Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) to purchase hotspots ONLY. The Library does not provide equipment to patrons, such as tablets, laptops, gaming equipment, etc. The internet services funded by the federal Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) is provided to patrons who do not have sufficient access to the internet. When connecting to the Library's internet services, all users must acknowledge these Terms and Conditions.
Wi-fi is provided for free between 7am - 11pm daily.
When you use our Library wi-fi services our computer servers automatically capture and save information electronically about your usage of our Library wi-fir services. We make sure to only collect the minimum amount of data needed for our services to work. In most cases we do not store this data; while we do sometimes look at the data in aggregate, we do not focus on you as an individual. Examples of information that we may collect include the Internet Protocol Address (IP Address) of the computer you are using; type of web browser, operating system, or electronic device; date, time, and length of your visit; the website that you visited immediately after acknowledging the Terms and Conditions, website pages that you visited on our network; searches/queries that you conducted or other interaction data. Note that this information is captured in aggregate and not in any individually identifiable way. If you are using our public Wi-Fi network, we may, in addition, also collect the MAC address and name of your Wi-Fi device.
Cookies. A cookie is a small data file sent from your web browser to a web server and is stored on your computer’s, or electronic device’s, hard drive. They are generated by websites to provide users with a personalized and often simplified online experience. You have the option of disabling such cookies if you choose to. If you prefer, you can usually remove or reject browser cookies through the settings on your browser or device. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. Keep in mind, though, that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the availability and functionality of our Library services.
